floating hotels in thailand beautiful and fascinating

More than 4 years ago, when first visit to Bangkok, one of the most impressive tourist attraction for me is the floating market. At that time, the floating markets of Bangkok located around the Wat Arun. Hundreds of vendors selling wares from small boats pedaled slowly back and forth around the region. It is really the market to meet the daily needs of local residents.
Unfortunately, year after year, the first floating hotel in Bangkok's famous quality deteriorated as tourism attractions. About ten years ago, when I was "seduced" by the water taxi driver to pay a visit to the floating hotel, I was ushered into a traditional market in the near Wat Sai, Bangkok. Indeed, there is a fairly crowded market land. However, the operation sells merchandise from a small boat in a tributary of the Chao Phraya it can be counted on the fingers. Wares were not impressive.
There was a middle-aged woman boating with cooler box that continues to seduce tourists-persuasion to buy beer. There are again some boats that offer postcards and souvenir items. So at least canoe traders, we just have to chase boat which is expected to function as a sailing shop.
Since the last decade, the manager of the Thai tourism has been "created" a new floating market in Damnoen Saduak - about an hour's drive to the west of Bangkok. The scale is very large, so it became a tourist attraction that is impressive. In addition, the organizers of this floating market it worked really operate as a real market which is indeed a place of daily transactions for the citizens who live in the vicinity.
Every day, dozens of tour buses come to Damnoen Saduak bring thousands of tourists. They then boarded a small canoes and down the river filled with canoes merchant. Most traders in the floating market selling food ingredients to be cooked at home. However, some boats also sell food to be enjoyed on the spot. Along the river was a common sight stalls and shops with a wide range of merchandise.
In this market, locals shop daily necessities, while the tourists shop souvenir items and breakfast variety of food and drinks are sold there. Even those who had breakfast at the hotel was definitely tempted to snack again there. Seller noodle soup, pad thai (fried noodles), fruit slices, fried plantains, and a variety of snacks are served attractively.
I had tasted the delicious duck noodles, from a boat tethered. Apparently, because the duck noodle is very famous, he no longer had milled pedal boat. Other canoes lined up to buy the duck noodles. The good, to overcome congestion, tourist boats should not be "parked". Then, how to restore the noodle bowl? Easy! Waterman would later return it when passing that place again.
Indeed, a very interesting attraction and interactive with the local population.
Rose garden
Because Damnoen Saduak some distance outside of Bangkok, then an another tourist attraction was created to "capture" of tourists visiting Bangkok's western region. The place is known as the Rose Garden. Originally this place is organizing a conference venue international orchid.
Rose Garden was built with the concept of a beautiful flower garden, so it can be an attractive haven. Here also there is the hotel facilities, places to eat some kind of food court that can accommodate several buses at once, as well as fine dining restaurants are pretty good.
However, the main attraction is not a flower garden Rose Garden. In the midst of this region built a platform that can accommodate about a thousand guests. The stage itself is very spacious, a replica of a village center. At this stage demonstrated the daily life of the Thai people in a compelling choreography. Begins with a procession of villagers - complete with elephants which is always a part of this process - which is following the proposed event bride.
Later, the marriage ceremony was held, complete with a variety of dances. Attractions in the Rose Garden appearance reminds me of a similar attraction at Saung Angklung Mang Ujo, on the outskirts of the city of Bandung. In my opinion, Mang Ujo also manages to present a nice and natural choreography to showcase the life of our society.
Phra Pathom Chedi
In addition to the Rose Garden, the other tourist attractions in the west of Bangkok is the Phra Pathom Chedi - the highest temple in the world. The main stupa as high as 127 meters. The temple is located in the small town of Nakhon Pathom. Unfortunately, Phra Pathom not quite popular compared to other Thai tourist attractions.
In the Mekong River Delta, on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), there is also a tourist attraction river which is very likely drew inspiration from the success of Thailand organized this Damnoen Saduak floating market. However, with clever they change the attraction that is not 100 percent cheat.
In the Mekong River Delta, tourists invited to ride small canoes paddled by the mothers along a small river on the sidelines of sago palm forest, to a small village where people live from dragon fruit plantations. Here the tourists were treated with various kinds of fruits typical of Vietnam, as well as see the various performances of the art village.
After enjoying the atmosphere of an orchard in the village, the tourists guided horse-drawn carriage ride to the other village. In the village, tourists see a cottage industry of traditional crafts made by the community. There were demonstrations dodol, and a variety of local snacks.
Such packaging is very attractive, because it only takes a few hours tourists can absorb a way of life and culture of the local community and there are still many floating hotel until now
